My Growth Journey

  • For years, I've been on a journey to create my ideal life, one filled with abundance, happiness, love, fun, and success. And I can honestly say that today, I feel the happiest and most grounded that I've ever felt.

This journey hasn't been easy, but it's been worth it. One thing that's helped me is learning to let go and live in the present moment. It's not always easy, but it's made a huge difference in my life.

Another thing that's been instrumental in my journey is getting really good at something that's good for me - working out. In the past, I used to push myself too hard and would often end up getting injured. This time around, I decided to be kind to myself and make small changes over time that would upgrade my workouts. The result was that I achieved my fitness goals over time, without getting injured. I share my fitness journey because it's taught me that I can do anything I set my mind to, as long as I pair kindness with my goals.

Lastly, I've learned that experiencing bliss with others is one of the most powerful things we can do. Whether it's practicing gratitude, indulging in good food, or attending an event with like-minded people, there's something special about connecting with others in this way. I've been curating these types of experiences for over 6 years and have finally decided to share them with others.

  • Growing up on the border of Mexico in San Diego, I had the privilege of experiencing different cultures from a young age. The weekly trips between the two countries showed me how people show up in the world in different ways. However, it wasn't until my senior trip to Italy that I truly understood how beauty and race can be perceived differently across cultures. During my 10-day stay, I was captivated by the art and architecture of Florence, but also the diversity of the people I met. It was a transformative experience that inspired me to see the world beyond my hometown.

In college, I embarked on a semester at sea, living on a cruise ship for four months while traveling to Japan, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Kenya, South Africa, Brazil, and Cuba. It was an eye-opening experience that introduced me to cultural relativism and unforgettable encounters with Fidel Castro and Desmond Tutu. Meeting these figures left an indelible mark on me, and I began to see the world through a more empathetic and open-minded lens.

Since then, I've continued to travel as much as possible, racking up visits to over 75 countries. While every trip has been memorable in its own way, there are a few that hold a special place in my heart. Spain, for example, is a country that I return to time and time again. The art, the food, and the people make it one of the most enchanting places I've ever been to. Belize, Barbados, and Croatia are other countries that have left a lasting impression on me. Each one is unique, but they all share a rich culture and history that is fascinating to explore.

Despite my love for travel, there is one place that I hold above all others: Turks and Caicos. For me, it is a spiritual sanctuary where I can feel closer to God. The crystal-clear waters and white sand beaches make it a paradise on earth, and I dream of one day living there. But until then, I will continue to explore the world and share my experiences with others. Join me on my journey and discover the transformative power of travel.
