Balancing rest, goals, and showing up

Zoë Hart catching up on emails and working on content on her balcony at the Loren.

I woke up sore after a night full of nightmares. I was behind on content creation, creating new manifestations, and my workout goals. I needed to reset and allow the ocean waves to carry me back to the dimension of self-love.

If I ever wake up feeling out of alignment, I start the day sending out love and gratitude to the people I love. This day followed the other. I either sent out bitmojis, affirmations of having a good day or checked on the status of something important going on in their lives. As always, this hack always helped me feel more loved.

This was my process until it was time to get breakfast. As I typically work out daily, eating food without working out feels odd. I can handle it while traveling, but I simply feel out of alignment when there is no other valid excuse. Though at breakfast, I was able to drink an amazing americano and a lobster hash that made me feel that all was right in the world.

My breakfast at The Loren included lobster, spinach, and potatoes with a side of avocado. I paired this with sparkling water and an americano.

I decided that I needed some time to myself to get my body right. So instead of going to he museums and tours per the daytime schedule in Bermuda, I elected to sit out on my balcony and catch up on work. The sound of the waves and the beauty of my view, paired with my laptop habits, helped me feel whole. I completed everything on my list just before my friend came back from her excursions. Those 5 hours simply flew by.

Once Aniesia came home, I was rejuvenated and looked forward to getting cute for dinner, essentially earning my keep. I thought about how many people don’t enjoy getting cute to go out; I am not one of them. I always said that I would love a life like this, and I certainly do.

We had a perfect dinner at the Loren, filled with oysters, mezze, fish, and unique cocktails. This dinner was one of the best meals I had during my trip to Bermuda, a perfect way to end the day.

Every night at dinner, representatives of the tourism board and influencers joined us for dinner. Apparently, to be successful in those industries, you have to be amazing, as every night we laughed and told stories and shut down the restaurant. After enjoying the company of one another for 3 hours, it was finally time to call it a night. I had so much fun and was glad that I listened to myself so that I could both get my work done and have fun socializing on the same day, something that I’m learning is entirely possible.

I wanted to capture how it felt to be this girl of my dreams, so took some photos in front of our hotel before calling it a night. I

I am exactly where I want to be, I’m simply learning how to navigate my dream world.

Miracles and Wonders

  • I was able to catch up on all of my work goals while working outside in view of the ocean

  • I was able to entirely leave my introverted mode to socialize with new people at dinner for over 3 hours

  • I was able to navigate myself from a lower to a higher frequency by simply going back to the things that I’ve learned

  • I decided that I needed to extend this for longer than 30 days
