Closing deals while enduring food poisoning

At 3 a.m. yesterday, I knew I had food poisoning. By 6 a.m., I was calling my mommy to ask what to do. She told me that she hid some Pepto in my house, lol.
When I woke up, I thought the day was typical, but I quickly fell into a sunken place. I was surprised that I felt terrible as I hadn’t eaten anything foreign since I returned home from Mexico two days prior. I took medicine but was disappointed that I couldn't jump into my day as planned.
I decided to sleep until 9 a.m. and then go with the flow. When I woke, it was clear that all fitness activity was eliminated for the day. Plus, it was dicey to see if I could walk more than 5 feet. I ended up walking downstairs to take some medicine and make some tea and woke up two hours later sitting on my favorite chair with my mouth open and a full cup of tea. My body was putting my body into emergency sleep mode to get through whatever was going on.
At this point, I decided to walk to the couch and wait for my handyman as he was scheduled to show up in an hour, and I didn’t want to chance walking upstairs without the ability to come back down. I blinked, and another hour passed, and my mother called to tell me to eat some rice. I hadn’t made rice since I entered the low-carb fitness competition in September, but it came back very quickly, and I could get it together and have my first food of the day.
Miracles and Wonders
I received a text from someone interested in acquiring EnrichHER
I had a fantastic new client meeting for a new consulting project revolving around B Corp certifications
I had plans to work from home, so I was able to recover in my own space and not while on the road
My handyman was able to fix an issue at my home without any requirement for me to move out of my bed
Luckily my handyman called me to ask if I needed to tell him what to do or if he should use his judgment and fix the problem himself. I was so happy that he said this. I told him just to fix it, and by the time I woke up, he had texted me that he had fixed the problem and to send him payment via cash app. I was so grateful for this miracle.
Also, a text asking if I was still interested in selling EnrichHER. The discussions about acquisition went cold after Thanksgiving, and I wasn’t sure if folks were still interested. It’s hard to gauge since people go mia at this point in the year, no matter what. Based on this text, I know that abundance will flow in this area, including others in my life.
Next, I had my weekly meeting with Kat and Sid. I’m grateful that both of them are still helping me with EnrichHER. There is no way that I’d be here without them. There is no way that I would ever run another business without a solid team like them. Having them around is priceless.
Last, I had a new client meeting. I decided to get up and take my first shower of the day so that I wouldn’t seem as sick on the zoom call. Kat and Sid are used to seeing me from all angles, so I knew I could be myself with them. So, I finally walked upstairs, took a shower, dressed, threw on my wig, put on my red glasses, and got ready. Twenty minutes later, I received a go-ahead to move forward and send over the contract terms.
By 5 p.m. I was back in bed upstairs and stayed there until five a..m. My body was greedy in the sleep department, and I had to oblige.
